What to Expect
On your first visit to our office you will see the hygienist and the doctor. Your medical history will be reviewed, we will do a blood pressure screening, take any necessary x-rays and perform a periodontal charting (perio chart). The perio chart helps us to determine if you have periodontal disease. Depending on the results of your perio chart, the hygienist may clean your teeth. The doctor will review your x-rays and conduct a thorough exam. During your exam, the doctor will screen for oral cancer,gum disease and evaluate the status of your current restorations (crown,filling,etc.) Additionally, a visual exam for decay will be conducted, and you will be advised of any findings.
