Dr. Paul Racine
Dr. Racine studied at Thomas Aquinas University in Rome, Italy and at the University of Michigan-Flint where he received a BA in Biology. Dr. Racine is a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Racine has also attained a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Mastership in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He has been a research associate with the University of Michigan and a member of the Peer Review Committee for the Genesee District Dental Society.
Dr. Racine has completed over 2000 hours of continuing education with particular emphasis on Prosthodontics, Sedation, Occlusion, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. He has completed two mini-residencies in Implant Dentistry and has performed implant procedures since 1990.
Dr. Racine and his wife, Sandy, are very active with their five children ages sixteen to tewnty five. Dr. Racine has served on the Parish Council for Holy Family Catholic Church and is a Eucharistic Minister. He is also a member of the Clio Rotary Club. His hobbies include swimming, biking, cross-country skiing and a general interest in liberal arts.
Dr. Kenneth Ackley
Dr. Ackley attended and graduated from Michigan State University in 1997 with a BS in landscape design. After working for four years, Dr. Ackley decided to pursue a career in dentistry. In 2005, he graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as one of the top students in his class. Dr. Ackley is a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. He is also certified in Invisalign, and is dedicated to expanding his knowledge through continuing education.
Dr. Ackley lives in Owosso with his wife, Patty, who is a dental hygienist. They have two sons, Jakob and Eden and a daughter Liliana. His hobbies include golfing, cooking, and spending time with his wife and children.
Dr. Richard J. Resler, Jr.
Dr. Resler is a Board Certified Orthodontist, and is licensed by the State of Michigan as a specialist in the dental practice of orthodontics. Dr. Resler is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree. He then continued on to the Medical University of South Carolina and earned his Doctorate Degree in Dentistry. The final part of Dr. Resler's education was three years of intense training in the specialty of Orthodontics at Temple University. He was ultimately granted his Masters of Science Degree in Oral Biology and his Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Resler has an established practice in Saginaw, Michigan where he works alongside of his father, Dr. Richard Resler Sr., and his wife, Dr. Tracie Resler. He joined the practice of Drs. Racine and Ackley in 2007. He currently resides in Saginaw, where he enjoys golf, biking, and spending quality time with his family.
Dr. Kelly Misch
Dr. Kelly Misch graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2005 and continued on to receive her Masters degree and certificate in Periodontics in 2008. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute, and an active member of many dental organizations. Dr. Misch has written publications in reputable periodontal and implant journals, and lectures on topics such as implants, surgical complications, bone grafting, etc. She has received numerous awards including: Dr. & Mrs. Gerald Kramer Award for excellence (2008 nominee), the Billy A. Smith Patient Rapport Award (2007), the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Dental Student Award in Implant Dentistry (2005), and the Russell Bunting Periodontal Study Club Award (2005). Dr. Misch is a partner at a periodontal and implant practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is also an associate at several other periodontal practices and is on the Dean's Faculty at the University of Michigan in the Graduate Periodontal Department. In her spare time she enjoys running, photography, traveling, reading and cooking.
Brenda - Office Practice Administrator
Brenda has worked at this dental practice for over 24 years. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has worked in both the clinical and business office. She graduated from Mott Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. After 16 years of clinical dental hygiene, Brenda became the Practice Administrator. She completed the Dental Practice Administration Course from University of Michigan and attends many continuing education courses every year. She enjoys her career in the dental field as the Practice Administrator. Brenda loves to garden, read, travel with her husband and spend time with her 4 grandchildren.

Kecia - Finance Manager
Kecia is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. She began working at this office in July of 2003. She thoroughly enjoys working here. Kecia states the patients, doctors and other employees make her job fun and exciting. The office stays on top of the latest technology, so she feels she is learning something new all the time.
Melissa - Insurance Coordinator, Ortho Treatment Coordinator
Melissa is a Registered and Certified Dental Assistant. She graduated from Mott Community College Dental Assisting program in 1992. Her career at the office of Drs. Racine and Ackley began in 1995. Melissa worked as a dental assistant for 4 years before becoming the insurance coordinator for the practice. When Dr. Resler joined our dental team in 2007, she also became his treatment coordinator. Melissa states she enjoys working here because we have a great team. She feels lucky to work alongside of such caring, honest, and fun people.
Carrie - Reception Schedule Coordinator
Carrie came to us in September of 2010 with over 16 years of dental experience. She graduated from Hale High School and discovered her interest in dental while attending Mott Community College. She has held many office positions, including Office Manager, Financial Coordinator and Receptionist. She enjoys spending time with her daughter Monica, reading, traveling, competitive walking, and being part of the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
Lorraine - Hygiene Schedule Coordinator
Lorraine is the hygiene schedule coordinator for the office. She has been in the customer service industry since she was 14 and had six years dental office experience prior to coming to this office in 2005. Lorraine states she enjoys working here because of the people and the environment - our patients and her co-workers are very nice.
Katina - Dr. Schedule Coordinator
Katina started working here in June, 2008. Her past experience in the customer service industry has given her an understanding and knowledge in how she may help our patients. Katina states she enjoys working here and looks forward to meeting all of our patients.
Hygiene Department
Kim - Registered Dental Hygienist, Department Coordinator
Kim is a registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Mott Community College Dental Hygiene Program in 1977. She began her career at this office in October 1978. Kim states it has been her pleasure to be a part of an office that has such high standards of patient care. She maintains her dental hygiene licensure by attending continuing education courses each year.
Michele - Registered Dental Hygienist
Michele graduated from Mott Community College in 1999 then began her career with this practice on a part-time basis. She enjoys working here as the staff and doctors are very professional and pleasant people. Michele states she is able to give all her patients the level of care she was taught in college by working with modern technology, up to date equipment, and thorough training. This is a fun place to work!
Julie - Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie graduated from the Mott Community College Hygiene program in 1993 and has worked for Drs. Racine and Ackley since that time. She enjoys working here because we have wonderful patients and a very experienced staff.
Pam - Dental Hygiene Assistant
Pam began her career here working part-time in 1997. She is now a full-time Hygiene Assistant and she is x-ray certified. Pam took the position in hopes of someday going to hygiene school to become a Hygienist. She states she has learned so much and receives support and assistance from the hygiene team and the Doctors. Pam enjoys working here because of the patients and the doctors, and feels honored to work here.
Jenny - Registered Dental Hygienist
Jenny started working here in 1996 as a hygiene assistant while attending Dental Hygiene School. She graduated from Mott Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2000. Jenny has worked here as a Dental Hygienist since March of 2008. Jenny loves working here because of the talented and professional staff.
Amber - Hygiene Assistant
Amber is currently going to college to become a Registered Dental Assistant. She completed her xray cerfication in 2009. Amber states we have a great office, she enjoys working here,and is looking forward to meeting and helping all of our patients.
Ronda - Registered Dental Hygienist
Ronda is a 1999 graduate of Mott Community College. She became part of our team as a hygiene assistant and after completing her degree in Dental Hygiene she is now here as a hygienist. Ronda states she has always enjoyed working at this office, the staff is great and it is an honor to work here.
Nancy - Registered Dental Hygienist
Nancy graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, New Orleans, LA with a BS in Dental Hygiene. She became part of our dental team in 2008.
Whitney - Hygiene Assistant
Whitney became part of our dental hygiene team in 2010 as a hygiene assistant. She plans on attending college to pursue a degree in dental hygiene.
Doctor's Assistants
Michelle -Registered/Certified Dental Assistant, Department Coordinator
Michelle began her dental assisting career as a skill center and co-op student in 1982. She worked in one office for 13 years before coming to work for Dr. Racine in 1995. Along the way she became a Certified Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Practice Management Administrator, and a Registered Dental Assistant. Michelle is also an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, so she is able to perform extra duties. Michelle states she loves her career here with Dr. Racine and Dr. Ackley. We have a wonderful staff that cares about our patients and each other.
Jackie - Registered/Certified Dental Assistant
Jackie has spent twenty years as a Dental Assistant. She also became a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant in 2008. She states it was hard work, but well worth it. She has been part of our dental team working with Dr. Racine since 2000 and she also assits Dr. Resler with orthodontics. She states that she enjoys her career here because of the staff and the doctors. Everyone is very supportive and we work well together as a team.
Maria - Registered/Certified Dental Assistant
Maria is a Registered and Certified dental assistant. Her career began at Drs. Racine and Ackley in 2005 after graduating with honors from Mott Community College Dental Assisting program . As a Mott student, she did her externship at this practice and then was offered a position on our team. She states she enjoys working here because this office is modern, ethical, and extremely motivated. The people here are all very nice and demonstrate exceptional team work!
Michelle- Certified Dental Assistant
Michelle completed the Ross Medical Education Center Dental Assisting Program and has been an assistant for 14 years. She started her career here in 2006. Michelle states she likes working here because she thinks Dr. Racine's office team works well together and they are nice people to work with. She also enjoys hearing from patients how pleased they are with their dental work and the quality care they receive here.
Angela - Registered/Certified Dental Assistant
Angela joined our team as a dental hygiene assistant while she was going to college. She graduated from Mott Community College in May 2008 from the Dental Assisting Program and she is a Registered Dental Assistant. She enjoys working here because we are caring and concerned about all of our patients and she looks forward to helping our patients receive excellent dental care.
